Ms. Alison Ngai has been the founder and teacher of Extended-day Chinese programs at Durham Academy since 2006. Previously, she was the Vice-Principal for Cary Chinese School since the school's establishment in 2001-03, the Vice-Principal for Durham Chinese School (Little Panda Mandarin Preschool) where she assisted the founder to build up the Preschool in 2004-05, and organizer for afterschool classes in Auxiliary Program at the Montessori School of Durham in 2018-19. In addition, Ms. Ngai has been involved in national and international teacher training programs and conferences in US, China, and Hong Kong since 2004. 

 

Ms. Ngai is a native Chinese speaker, who graduated from Campbell University, NC, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. She has also been on the Extended-day Lower School staff at Durham Academy since 2013. Ms. Ngai has a passion for teaching and working with children.
